
Anna Maria Chlumsky born December 3, 1980 (2nd December) is an American actress. She began acting as a child and was initially known for her role as Vada Sullenfuss in My Girl (1991), and My Girl 2. After her first role she went on hiatus between 1999 and 2005 to go to college. She returned to acting in roles in several independent films including Blood Car (2007), In the Loop (2009). She portrayed Amy Brookheimer on the HBO TV show Veep (2012-2019) and received her six nominations to the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the field of Comedy Series, among other honors.
